How we choose our sessions:

Each year, NAHJ invites members and non-members to submit ideas for the conference. Proposals for sessions as well as general input and suggestions are welcome.

Proposals must demonstrate relevance to journalism or media-related fields. Decisions are made by the NAHJ Programming Committee and are based on the following criteria: overall quality, well-defined topic, timeliness of topic, relevance to the profession, and speaker affiliation. Each session is expected to include hands-on skills training.
